Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to services provided by PKB Construction, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read this policy carefully before making any payments or deposits.

1. General Policy

PKB Construction, LLC provides construction and remodeling services that are customized to each project. Due to the nature of construction services, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated in a written contract.

2. Deposits

  • Deposits are used to secure scheduling, labor, materials, and project planning.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, materials have been ordered, or permits have been applied for.

  • If a project is canceled before work begins and no materials or permits have been purchased, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, minus administrative or design costs.

3. Progress Payments

Progress or milestone payments are non-refundable for work already completed. Any remaining unpaid work will be addressed according to the terms of the signed contract.

4. Change Orders

Refunds will not be issued for approved change orders or additional work requested by the client once the work has been completed or materials have been ordered.

5. Cancellations

Project cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility, if any, will depend on:

  • Work completed to date

  • Materials purchased or delivered

  • Permits, inspections, or third-party services already incurred

6. Defective or Unsatisfactory Work

If you believe work was performed incorrectly or does not meet contractual standards, please notify us in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to correct verified issues in accordance with the terms of the contract. Refunds are not guaranteed and are not a substitute for corrective work unless required by law or stated in the contract.

7. Third-Party Costs

PKB Construction, LLC is not responsible for refunds related to third-party services, including but not limited to permit fees, inspections, engineering, or material supplier restocking fees.

8. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan.
